South Sudan

South Sudan is one of the poorest countries in the world, with one of the worst public health situations of any countries. Residential density is - apart from a few exceptions - very low, which in terms of health care is a serious problem, particularly with regard to ensuring the medical staff, as well as centers and facilities. Most socio-economic and health indicators are below the rest of Sudan.

MAGNA operates in South Sudan since 2011. Team consists of 3 international and (in recruitment) local staff, who are primarily engaged in primary healthcare, nutrition, women's health and responding to natural and others emergencies.
